Marieschi
Marieschi is a fictional brand that I worked on for the Green Packaging course. The objective was to create packaging for an artisanal panettone cake with the flavour of sultanas, vanilla and mandarin. It was important to convey craftsmanship and care for the environment. The QR code on the sleeve will show the customer a landing page about Marieschi’s effort for social and environmental causes.

The underlying concept is based on the homonymy between Marieschi of the brand I worked on and Michele Marieschi, a Venetian painter. This is emphasised by the phrase on the right-hand side of the packaging and the inside of the lid, which features a painting by the aforementioned painter, in both the small and large packs.
To reflect these values, I designed packaging that combines natural materials with a refined aesthetic. The primary structure is made from recycled cardboard, finished with a sleeve that evokes traditional artisanal paper. The graphics are minimal, relying on warm earth tones.
